SoundMe at MedRen 2019, Basel, Switzerland

The SoundMe project again was represented at a number of sessions during the Medieval and Renaissance Music Conference 2019, held in Basel, Switzerland. Team members presenting papers included Jan Ciglbauer (Prague), Antonio Chemotti (Warsaw), David Eben (Prague), Paweł Gancarczyk (Warsaw), Bartłomiej Gembicki (Warsaw), Lenka Hlávkovká (Prague), Ruxandra Marinescu (Utrecht), Manon Louviot (Utrecht) and Christine Roth (Heidelberg/Zurich).

SoundMe also sponsored the official conference concert at Peterskirche, Basel on 4 July 2019. Associate Partners La Morra and Bastarda performed a programme offering contrasting visions of the past, exemplified in radically different realisations of pieces ascribed to fifteenth-century Central European composer, Petrus Wilhelmi de Grudencz.
