Sound Memories Concert in Zurich with La Morra

Music from 16th-century Poland and its interplay with the musical past were the subject of a concert and talk with our AP La Morra, moderated by the Heidelberg/Zurich team at the Musikwissenschaftliches Institut  in Zurich on 12 December 2018. 

Corina Marti, harpsichord, and Michał Gondko, lute, presented a varied programme of instrumental music from Poland to the audience, including liturgical music based on Gregorian chant as well as dance music. Inga Mai Groote presented the Sound Memories project in her introduction. Christine Roth discussed with the musicians the particularities of the music and its relation to the past.
