On 13 December 2016 the Warsaw team inaugurated a cycle of seminars devoted to the SoundMe project. The subject of the first meeting was Music for the dead in Italy, 1550-1650, with a paper given by Antonio Chemotti.

Twenty researchers, postgraduates and undergraduates, including those from the Polish Academy of Sciences and University of Warsaw, took part in the seminar.

Three seminars are planned for 2017, when both the members of the Warsaw team and invited guests working on related topics will present their research. These events are intended to disseminate results of the research, encourage scholarly discussion and contribute to the education of the students. The first of them takes place as early as February 2017.
